1, TABER wear resistance method
The US standard ASTM D 3884-2009 "Standard test method for abrasion resistance of textile fabrics (of)" stipulates the abrasion resistance method. The test principle of TABER wear resistance method is as follows: the test sample is placed on a rotating platform, and the two rolling friction wheels above it are rotated and rubbed with the sample under certain load to wear the sample. Martin Dyer method is often used for textile wear abrasion and pilling evaluation, China national standard GB/T3903.16-2008 "footwear uppers, lining and pad test method for abrasion resistance of" set test method using the Martin Dyer method to test the upper, but also suitable for the automotive leather wear performance test.
The Martin Dyer wear-resistant method was used to friction the sample with the standard friction fabric under constant pressure. 3, STROLL wear resistance method
According to ASTM D 3886-1999 "Standard testmethod for abrasion resistance of textile fabrics"
(Inflated Diaphragm apparatus), the test principle of STROLL wear resistance method is to place the test sample on the inflatable rubber diaphragm with constant pressure, and use the sandpaper with the specified surface characteristics to rub the sample. After the specified number of friction times, the wear degree of the specimen is evaluated by the appearance.
Operation procedure: put the sample on the rubber membrane on the flat level, then put the sandpaper on the abrasive plate, and make the contact between the sand paper and the sandpaper surface neat. Then apply the pressure of 28 kPa below the diaphragm, apply the pressure of 454 G above the abrasive plate, and ensure the air pressure control and the contact between the inflated sample and the loaded sandpaper is in a stable and balanced state. Start the instrument and test it according to the number of rotations set by the counter. After the test is finished, the samples are removed, the wear condition of the samples is checked and recorded, and the color changes in the test area are evaluated by grey card and GB/T 250-2008, textile color fastness test, assessment of discoloration and grey card.
